Notas detalhadas sobre Phantom Abyss

in its current state it offers very little reason to try new whips once you find the ones you like. In the previous versions of the game to spice up the run I could try a new whip and because the whip was cursed it adds a new extra challenge. And the reward for winning with the curse was a non cursed version of the whip where you just had the unique whip benefit.

I first bought Phantom Abyss when it launched in early access, and I was hooked by the premise. You quickly run through procedurally generated temples, jump and dodge traps, use a whip to propel yourself to platforms, collect currency, and upgrade as you try to make it to the end before dying completely or a big scary idol catches up to you.

It may take some getting used to, but it can be an excellent strategy for quickly clearing rooms and obstacles. Should you choose to run the Ice Whip with its curse enabled, this blessing moves from one of the worst to one of the most essential.

The cleverest players will use the phantom runs of failed attempts from other players to their advantage and avoid the missteps and mistakes that led to their doom.

Despite levels being procedurally generated, each map has similar layouts and obstacles, with most of the changes being small, like adding poison gas or dangerous enemies. This repetition means that exploring the ancient tombs gets old pretty quickly.

All three games included in this weekend's Free Play Days are discounted this time, making it easier and cheaper to continue playthroughs following the latest promotion on Xbox consoles. Here are links to all the games available, plus what platforms they are available on:

Sad to say, From the Abyss is an extremely unremarkable game through-and-through. From the visual style and plot to the game mechanics, it's all been done before in some form or another. The good news in all of this is the game still offers a good time for fans of the genre.

Since it is quite easy to hit 60 FPS in the game, I elected to just go to a Medium preset and keep 60 FPS. The fluidity feels amazing in-game, and bringing the preset down just a little keeps the battery drain around 12W - 15W in general.
